This website is operated by Smithereens. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Smithereens. By accessing this site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, along with any other policies referenced on this site, including our Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting updates to this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Use of This Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not violate any applicable laws or regulations or interfere with the operation or security of the site.

3. Products and Availability
Smithereens offers handmade, one-of-a-kind, and small-batch products. Because of the nature of these items, variations in wood grain, shape, texture, color, and other natural characteristics are normal and part of each piece’s unique character.
We make every effort to display products, descriptions, dimensions, and images as accurately as possible. However, we do not guarantee that all details, colors, textures, or dimensions displayed on your device will be perfectly exact.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit the sale of any product at any time without notice.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to correct pricing errors, inaccurate product information, or omissions, even after an order has been placed.
If an item is listed at an incorrect price or contains inaccurate information due to a typographical error, system issue, or other mistake, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order placed for that item.
By placing an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.
5. Order Acceptance and Cancellation
Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases involving product availability issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or other concerns related to the order.
If your order is canceled after payment has been submitted, any applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.
6. Shipping
Smithereens currently ships only within the United States.
Most in-stock items ship within 3 business days, and all orders are typically shipped within 10 business days unless otherwise noted in the product listing.
Most items ship for a flat $25 shipping fee. Some larger or oversized pieces may require an additional $50 oversized shipping fee, which will be clearly noted in the product listing. Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii are also subject to an additional $50 shipping fee.
Orders typically ship through UPS or FedEx and are shipped with insurance. We carefully package items to help reduce the risk of damage in transit.
Free local pickup is available in or near Utah County, Utah.

7. Damaged Items and Returns
If your item arrives damaged, please contact help@smithereensco.com as soon as possible and include photos of the item, packaging, and shipping box so the issue can be reviewed.
Returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you have a question about a return or an issue with your order, please contact help@smithereensco.com.

8. Product Use and Safety
Customers are responsible for using all products safely and as intended.
For lighting products or other functional items, customers are responsible for proper placement, handling, and use. Smithereens is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from misuse, improper installation, improper handling, modification, or use outside of intended indoor or product-listed conditions.
Any product-specific care, use, or installation guidance provided in a listing should be followed.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including but not limited to product names, photographs, images, logos, branding, descriptions, text, graphics, and design elements, is the property of Smithereens or is used with permission and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Unauthorized use of any content from this site is prohibited.
10. Accuracy of Information
We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all information on the site is complete, current, or error-free.
The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions without reviewing more specific and complete information where appropriate.

This site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or tools that are not owned or controlled by Smithereens.
